1. Booking Policy – New Year’s Eve
1.05 Mad For It Events reserves the right to make material alterations to the advertised event
1.1 Deposit - Please note that upon booking tickets you will be asked to secure your place with a non-refundable deposit of £50 which must be paid within 7 days of acceptance of the booking unless the booking is accepted within 30 days of an event, in which case the full amount must be paid immediately upon the booking being accepted.
1.2 Payment of Balance -The balance of the overall price must be paid by Friday 11th December at the latest in order to secure your place.
1.3 Mad For It Events reserves the right to re-sell any tickets that we have not received the balance payment for after December 16th.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Mad For It Events will not be liable for any cancellation of or alteration to the booking or any loss or damage to the client arising out of circumstances beyond its control including but not limited to any act of god, natural disaster, war or threat of war, or act of terrorism. Therefore, in the event of client having to cancel, we cannot offer a refund on deposits or balance payments.
2.2 However, in the interest of goodwill, where a sell-out event occurs, we will attempt to resell your tickets, thus enabling a refund.
2.3 Mad For It Events will not be held responsible if you are unable to attend the event due to extreme weather conditions.
3. Payment Methods
3.1 By cheque, made payable to “Mad For It Events”
3.2 Credit Card – all transactions are subject to a booking fee of 3.4%
3.3 Bank transfer by Internet or telephone - details can be provided upon request but at least 5 working days should be allowed for payments to reach us.
4. Online Booking
4.1 Upon submitting an online booking via our website, it may be necessary for you to supply us with more information. We will email you the necessary forms.
4.2 Mad For It Events uses Paypal to process our online bookings.
4.3 Mad For It Events has the right to refuse any bookings made over the internet.
4.4 Once the venues being promoted via the online booking tool are nearly sold out, the online booking facility will not be available.
5 Liability
5.1 Mad For It Events is covered by £1,000,000 liability insurance for accidents occurring as a direct result of negligence on our part.
5.2 Mad For It Events shall not be liable for death or personal injury suffered by the client or its guests arising out of the booking. This limitation of liability shall also extend to any loss or damage sustained by property or belongings of the client or any of the client’s guests or for any further costs, demands or expenses incurred or suffered by the client arising out of the booking.
5.3 In the event of accidents or injury occurring as a result of negligence on the part of our sub-contractors, then Mad For It Events cannot be held liable.
5.4 We accept no liability for any accident or misadventure that occurs while any of your group is under the influence of drink or drugs.
5.5 In the unlikely occurrence of an event having to be cancelled due to a terrorism threat or activity, Mad For It Events cannot be held liable for any refunds to our clients.
6 General Conditions
6.1 Behaviour – Mad For It Events reserves the rights to ask anyone to leave an event, if we feel that that person(s) behaviour is detracting from the enjoyment of the event by others. A group or individual(s) involved in such behaviour will not be entitled to any refund in such circumstances.
6.2 As a customer of Mad For It Events you are expected to respect our venues and other people around you. All suppliers and hotels have every right to terminate, without notice, your stay or activity under threat of vandalism, violence or any other behaviour deemed inappropriate by them. In such cases you will not have any entitlement to a refund of any kind whatsoever.
