Venue: Marquee in Client’s garden
Event: 40th Birthday Party
Brief:
Our client wanted to throw his wife a fantastic 40th Birthday party, one which would be the “talk of the neighbourhood”. There were 60 people invited to the party. All of this had to be done on a budget of £150 per person.
Concept:
The first key issue to be addressed was whether to have the party at the client’s house, or whether to look at a local venue. It was decided that it would be more personal if the party could be held at the client’s farmhouse.
The Event:
A small marquee was erected in the clients garden on the Wednesday before the event, in order for our production team to work their magic and transform the marquee into a 1950’s “Grease Lightning” theme. Guests were then invited to dress to the era to give the evening more of a “wow” factor.
In addition to the marquee being themed, private caterers served a 3 course meal, a DJ played all night and there was a fireworks display after dinner.
